I'm changing what I do...

Hi Everyone,

I have finally made a decision as to what I am going to do with this website, and that is to stop running it. Yes, I'm not coming back...

It was a good three years of news and fun but I have lost interest.

If you were a loyal follower or just checked in from time to time I say thank you... and also that there is GOOD NEWS for you!!!

Instead of blogging, I have been creating music and uploading it to SoundCloud. This is the thing taking up my time and contribution. I upload very frequently!!!

So if you are a music-lover or just want to see what I have been up to, you can follow this link: https://soundcloud.com/thebeatmusketeer

My artist name is Musketeer (instead of NoahTNR... because that wouldn't make any sense)

So please enjoy this new me... I hope you like it as much if not better than TheNoahReport.

Thank you and see you on SoundCloud!

Reboot Upcoming

Hey everybody...

I lost the drive for maintaining this website and stopped posting in early July (that explains the lack of posts from then to now), but now I am missing/feeling bad about leaving.

I've been gathering my thoughts and putting some time into finding ways to bring back this website or a whole new one will come into play and still have time for school and other responsibilities.

There may also be a potential partnership between me and another familiar producer, but that may take some time... If this happens, I will get a new website and we will maintain it together.

On a side note, I have gained/dropped a few interests since July and if I continue, there will be some different topics in the spotlight, (but most tech and my love of cars has not changed).

I'll update you on any developments if they come, and know that this website or another one made by me will most likely be up and running again soon.

How to use Binary Code!!!

Hi Everybody!

Last Wednesday I did a post using binary code to make words, but unless you used a translator, you probably did not have any idea what it said...

Let me teach you how to write and understand binary!

Lesson 1: What do the '0' and '1' mean?

One letter (or number) that you make is now made up of '1' and '0'... to a computer, this is a set of 'on'(1) and 'off'(0) signals that tells the computer what it really is. example of a binary: 01100011

Lesson 2: Numbers

How to make a number in binary is easy, let me show you. 0 = 0, is you want 1 = 1... if you want to go higher, add another digit and start at 1...  10 = 2, 11 = 3, add another digit... 100 = 4, 101 = 5, 110 = 6, 111 = 7, 1000 = 8, and so on.

Lesson 3: Letters

Letters are a bit more complicated... to specify that a binary string is a letter and not a number, you have to put a special bit of code at the beginning. 0100 = capital letter and 0110 = a lowercase letter. After that, to make a letter, you use a number to tell which one. a = 1, b = 2, c = 3, and so on.

Capital A = 01000001 / lowercase a = 01100001
Capital B = 01000010 / lowercase b = 01100010
Capital C = 01000011 / lowercase c = 01100011
And so on...
A Space = 0010000
A Period = 00101110

Lesson 4: Making words/Translating

Making a word is a surprisingly long process... just to make the word 'hello' it is 01101000 01100101 01101100 01101100 01101111, but it looks cool so all is well. making a word is just putting letters together(of course).

Class Complete!

Car of the Week!

The Mazda Furai

This 2008 Supercar was supposed to be rippin' up the roads and shootin' down Mazda's competition three years ago... what happened?

Before I go into that, I want to list some stats:

Top speed of around 180mph
0 - 60 in THREE little seconds
Weighed only 1,488 pounds (675kg)

When the car was first being tested, it was put to the limits it would have been put to in a race, but it couldn't handle the stress and heat(?) and caught on fire. Thankfully, the driver was not injured or killed, and the fire team could get to the car before its two gas tanks exploded...

(here is a link to the full article)

This car would have been an amazing car and I really hope that Mazda have gone back to the drawing board and fixed whatever errors there may have been.

Thank you for tuning in and please like and comment your suggestions or opinions.
