A Brand New Year!

Hello all and Happy New Years Eve!

And now a poem by Noah A.M. (Me)

A New Year

A year has passed, time has gone, and memories have been made
But now a time for another year
No fear; a time for upgrade

Another chance for everyone, go ahead and cheer
Another way for good times to enter
Or to bring your loved-ones near

A new year, a new dawn, a new mentor
A new way to put your past behind you
And find the best in your center

Thank You Everyone for your time and please comment if you like or suggest for the future.

Classic Christmas Movies!

Christmas is just around the corner and one of my favorite pre-Christmas things to do is watch those classic Christmas movies!

Here is a list of recommendations from me:

1. Home Alone
    Rated: PG

This family comedy is fun, clever, and very enjoyable to watch annually.

It is Christmas time and the McCallister family is preparing for a vacation in Paris, France. Then, the next morning, while the rest of the family was in a rush to make it to the airport on time, they completely forgot about the youngest in the family, Kevin, who now has the house all to himself. Being home alone was fun for Kevin, having a pizza all to himself, jumping on his parents' bed, and making a mess. Then, Kevin discovers about two burglars, Harry and Marv, about to rob his house on Christmas Eve. Kevin acts quickly by wiring his own house with makeshift booby traps to stop the burglars and to bring them to justice.

2. The Nightmare Before Christmas
     Rated: G

This holiday movie is a clever and witty Claymation Disney movie.

Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween Town, is bored with doing the same thing every year for Halloween. One day he stumbles into Christmas Town, and is so taken with the idea of Christmas that he tries to get the resident bats, ghouls, and goblins of Halloween town to help him put on Christmas instead of Halloween -- but alas, they can't get it quite right.

3. Elf
    Rated: PG

This isn't exactly a 'classic' but it is a memorably charming and funny, family comedy.

Buddy was a baby in an orphanage who stowed away in Santa's sack and ended up at the North Pole. Later, as an adult human who happened to be raised by elves, Santa allows him to go to New York City to find his birth father, Walter Hobbs. Hobbs, on Santa's naughty list for being a heartless buissnessman, had no idea that Buddy was even born. Buddy, meanwhile, experiences the delights of New York City (and human culture) as only an elf can. When Walter's relationship with Buddy interferes with his job, he is forced to reevaluate his priorities.

Thank you all and Merry Christmas to everyone!

P.S.  I would love to know what YOUR favorite Christmas movies are! Please write them down in the comments if you want.

Video Time!

Category: Art

3D art is an awesome thing that (sadly) only the very talented can accomplish... Like this guy, Marcello Barenghi, who makes weekly timelapse-videos of his 'hyper realistic art' and believe me when I say this, you would not know that his drawings are 'drawings'.

Anywho... here is a link to one of his videos where he makes a 3D drawing of Darth Vader
(This is 3 minutes and 45 seconds long)

3D Drawing Darth Vader

If you are short on time, then I would recommend watching this 'super-timelapse' video
(This is 30 seconds long)

Car of the Week

BMW X1

"The BMW X1 goes far beyond utility, changing everything you know and expect from a Sports Activity Vehicle." Says the creator of this amazing SUV(or SAV), And I definitely agree! This car looks great, feels great, and has an amazing 228 horses-under-the-hood (horsepower).

Just take a look at THESE numbers:

- 228 Horsepower
- 0-60mph in just over 6 seconds
- 32 MPG
- Just over 58 cubic feet of cargo space
- 2 liter 4-cylinder twin turbo engine

The X1 also has some of the latest(and coolest) technology you could put in a car.

- A projector on the dashboard that puts information on the windshield
- An 8 inch touch-screen display
- Headlights that turn the corners WITH you
- Intelligent All-wheel-drive that optimally adapts to its surroundings

The X1 even has a reasonable price(for a BMW) of $34,800!

I can not find anything bad to say about this amazing machine except that it is not the flashiest BMW out there and it is a bit bulky but it is definitely worth the money and the bulk because it is a must-have car to add to any collection!

btw, if the X1 is 'too cheap...' then there is the X3, X4, X5, and X6 to consider!

Thank you for your time and be sure to comment if you like this or suggest for the future!

The Microsoft Hololens!

The Microsoft HoloLens

Release date: Early 2016

This amazing piece of technology is the latest in personal hologram / virtual reality software. When you put these on like glasses it will open a whole new world of visual possibility! You will be able to see 3D holograms that can do anything you want with your ability to 'touch' and 'move' them. The holograms can even do things on there own if you want them to, using AI to give them thoughts of their own.

This 'HoloLens' can be useful for:

- Work
- Fun
- Learning
- Gaming
- Designing
- Exploring
- Sharing Ideas
- Much much more!

It is a great invention and is absolutely awesome, but even the best things have drawbacks...
First up, right now it is still in partial development so only contributors to Microsoft can get one currently. Secondly, the price when it is released to the public sometime in 2016 is going to be a whopping $3,000!!! The 'Oculus Rift Virtual Reality glasses' are very similar and only cost $350... So in that way, these are not very practical.

I can NOT wait until these amazing HoloLenses are up for grabs! *applause*

For more information, you can go to Microsoft.com or you can see this video on the Microsoft HoloLens!
